Omaha Wedding at Champion’s Run

Jen and Chris have dynamic, vivacious personalities and are just plain fun to be around. We got to know them really well when we worked on their Love Story last year, so it was like hangin’ with old friends the day of the wedding. Tracey Fricke did an amazing job with the design and coordination- as always. We planned an amazing portrait session after the first dances to take advantage of the AMAZING light just before sunset. It just kept getting better and better. Awesome day with amazing people. The... Read The Rest →

Omaha/Gretna Wedding Featuring Historic Dairy Farm and The Paxton Ballroom

Working with Jennifer and Chad was like hanging out with old friends. Super laid back couple with warmth, style, and contagious smiles. We had the benefit of getting to shoot at great locations throughout their wedding day- from the rustic charm of a historic dairy farm to the art deco grandeur of the Paxton Ballroom.

cinematic wedding video reel for 2013 Wedding Essentials Idea Show

We created a cinematic wedding video reel to show in our booth last weekend at the 2013 Wedding Essentials Idea Show. The show was great and we met some awesome brides- and grooms-to-be . We hired finishing carpenter Dan Godsey to construct our custom booth; the bar was made of reclaimed birch and vintage tin ceiling panels. The idea behind the booth was to mimic the design and character of our Midtown Omaha studio.

Sarah and Patrick

Way cool couple, historic architecture, one-of-a-kind DIY details mixed with a glorious display of vintage goodness. Sarah and Patrick were perfectly at home with each other on their wedding day, graciously allowing us all the time we needed to create images that told stories about their amazing day. The historic architecture of the Joslyn Castle was the perfect compliment to their well thought out vintage theme. Each room in that venue has a unique story- with gorgeous natural light and period details. The bride and groom felt natural and at... Read The Rest →

Gretchen and Eduardo’s Wedding at Sacred Heart and Sokol Auditorium

Gretchen and Eddie…amazing couple. We worked with them very closely to create on of our Love Story films so by the time the wedding day arrived, we felt like we were there to document a really really good friend’s wedding. It was so powerful to witness their love and see them interact with their families. You could really feel the love everywhere that day. The wedding ceremony was at Sacred Heart- truly one of our favorite churches in Omaha. Father Tom always hits it out of the park with this... Read The Rest →

Jesse and Jimi’s Wedding at the Durham Museum in Downtown Omaha

When I first met with Jesse, she told me that their wedding party was going to be super small- one person on each side. Simple. The next time I met with her, the wedding party had grown to about 20…Jimi and Jesse both own very successful Midtown Omaha businesses, so they have a lot of friends and clients. And big families. This wedding defined the meaning of celebration. They had just bought this incredible mid century modern house, so that is where I met up with the girls on the... Read The Rest →

Calli and Thomas’s Wedding at Stephen’s College in Columbia, MO

We worked with Calli’s sister a few years ago, so we were super excited to get to work with this amazing family again. Everyone was so kind and the accommodations were wonderful. The wedding took place at the Kimball Ballroom on the historic campus of Stephen’s College. Columbia has amazing turn-of-the-last-century architecture and the wedding venue was no exception. My assistant and I arrived the day before the wedding and were anxious to scout potential locations for the portraits before the ceremony. We spent a couple of hours walking the... Read The Rest →
