Fontenelle Forest Nature Center is the perfect venue if you want to get married outside and have your reception inside. Nice outdoor ceremony space with serene wooded background. Easy access to the Great Hall, which is the venue’s signature reception space with a lodge-style atmosphere. We love this venue because it offers an endless amount of on-site locations for photo shoots. There are a series of board walks that lead into the forest behind the ceremony space that offers perfect light in the early evening. Note- a lot of outdoor venues have incredible spaces for the ceremony, but not-so-fantastic backup spaces in case of inclement weather. We feel that of all the outdoor venues in the area, this venue is one of the best. Lauritzen Gardens would be another great choice. Photography and Video by Iwen Exposures.
